Located at 630 Davis St, Evanston, IL 60201, Deep Purpl Acai operates as a vegetarian serving Evanston in Illinois. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as açaí shop, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Evanston is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Evanston follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Friendly staff and a nice, clean atmosphere. The only issue was that the acai bowl came in a cup instead of a bowl, which made it hard to eat since everything was buried deep at the bottom. It was delicious though, but a bit on the sweeter side.

I came here one time and the guy barely even washed his hands after taking a timely garbage break. That same guy has terrible customer service and probably has no desire to work there but I that all goes to why I rate this place a 1 star. They hired people who don't wanna do the job properly and to a good standard

Great service, good food, dirty store. The store employee was super friendly and knowledgeable, made sure we were happy with our acai bowl and smoothie orders. The smoothie is not special or distinctive. The store was absolutely filthy, dusty, cracking paint, smudged windows, bathroom was filthy. You can tell the owner cares purely about repeating a formula to milk it with little care for the overall experience.

This week I visited the Deep Purpl and was blown away by the quality of their açaí! The flavors were incredibly rich, and the fruit toppings were so fresh. I loved the variety of toppings available, from granola to coconut flakes—each bite was perfection! The staff Thaina and Paulinho was super friendly and helpful, and my order came out quickly. The place has a vibrant, cozy vibe, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a healthy treat. For the portion size and quality, the prices were very reasonable. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!

2025 Update: I'm still making it in for acai bowls! They're always delicious and fresh, and I'm never disappointed. However, I have to say it's the staff that truly makes this place special. Paulinho is a standout! He's not just great at customer service, but he's also such a wonderful person to talk with. ---- You can order ahead if you like, but it's not really necessary because the team inside are very quick and fun to chat with! It is a little bit on the pricey side, so I only go a couple of times a month as a treat.
